I’ll be settling in Dublin, Ohio, this weekend for their grand Dublin Irish Festival (www.dublinirishfestival.org). This year, I’ll be celebrating (and set up with my jewelry) at the Fountain 0′ Green Festival in Fountain Hills, Arizona. You’re welcome to take home a bit o’ the green with a piece of jewelry from a broken piece of Irish […]
I’m continuing my One of a Kind Show email preview by showing you two types of unique china that I worked with for the very first time recently. Get a closer look at them online until Wednesday day night (then they’re going on display at the One of a Kind Show in Chicago).
My largest and last show of the year opens on Thursday in Chicago; and this year, I decided to preview some of the new pieces to you BEFORE the event starts. I want to let you know a few of my favorites and what makes them special. If you see something you like, you can […]

It’s St Patrick’s Day, so I thought I’d invite you to be a part of a family tradition… sharing an Irish blessing. I didn’t want to just write it down… this one is better sung. Click below to hear me sing May the Road Rise Up to Meet to You (more…)
It’s almost St Patrick’s Day… that day when everyone with an once of Irish heritage beams with pride. Here are a few of my favorite Irish and Celtic pieces of shard jewelry. These pieces DO NOT appear in my online store, so you’ll need to email me directly it you’d like to purchase a piece.
This month has been a very creative and productive time for me. Between art fairs, I’ve managed to work in some studio time and finish some fantastic pieces of shard jewelry. I thought you’d appreciate seeing them before they are unveiled this weekend at the Litchfield Park Arts Festival near Phoenix. All the pieces are […]
Just as I was finishing up my new collection of jewelry and ready to escape the icy Upper Peninsula of Michigan for winter shows in California and Arizona, I had a bit of a setback. My partner Corey (who you might have met at an art shows) was hospitalized for a week. He’s recovering at home […]
Today, my final show of the season begins, the One of a Kind Show in Chicago. This year, I decided it was time to bring out a very special piece of shard jewelry… a piece that hasn’t been seen in public for over five years… The Katharine Hepburn necklace… a stunning piece of jewelry made […]
Some pieces for this winter…
I drove from Milwaukee to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this week… and yes, there a few hints of autumn colors in the trees. That inspired me to share some pieces of broken china jewelry from my Fall Collection. Here’s my upcoming schedule…
Corey and I are gearing up for Milwaukee Irish Fest, and this year we’re adding a mini-exhibit to our booth. Stop by and learn a bit about Ireland’s great china makers… Belleek, Carrigaline, Arklow, Irish Wade, Royal Tara, Nicholas Mosse, and Donegal Parian. You can take a peek at the info HERE.
It was quite a surprise when the jury at the Tempe Festival of the Arts selected me as the Spring 2015 Best Ornamental Jeweler. It’s a tremendous honor, and I am still a bit shocked. I should add that the artisan-made ribbons they present were a work of art as well.
It’s been a busy winter with shows in Arizona and California, but it’s time to start heading home. Of course, I’m not taking the most direct route. I’ll be stopping for shows in Tempe, AZ; Norman, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Baton Rouge, LA; Stevens Point, WI; Milwaukee, WI; and Chicago, IL… before getting back to […]
It’s Valentine’s Day, and I just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you. Hopefully, your day has been going well, and you’re in the mood to check out a few brand new pieces of shard jewelry. I just added pieces to my online store that you’re sure to love.
Hopefully your 2015 is off to a fantastic start! At this very moment, I’m escaping the frigid conditions of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and pushing my way to Arizona and California. There are a few sunshine-friendly shows on my calendar. So far, I’m officially OUT of the “snow zone” 🙂 Since not everyone gets a break […]
Every year I take some of my favorite bits of broken dishes and turn them into ornaments for my Christmas tree. I’ve gathered such an extensive collection that this year the weight of all those ornaments actually tipped over the tree… it was quite a scene. Fortunately, none of my shard ornaments were damaged, but […]
