Museum Worthy

One of my pieces of shard jewelry on display alongside other Belleek marks in the Irish American Heritage Museum in Chicago.

I had a pleasant surprise this weekend. A piece of my Irish Belleek shard jewelry was added to the Irish American Heritage Center Museum‘s exquisite collection of Belleek china in Chicago.

In their display of Irish Belleek marks one of my pieces has been put in to showcase the company’s “Dishwasher Safe – Microwave Safe” mark (it didn’t take long before Belleek realized this label didn’t really go with their brand and they stopped using it).

Corey noticed they didn’t have the Belleek Millenium mark in their exhibition, so we’ll be hunting for one of those to send.
